DESCRIPTION

Bonded Seals are most commonly used for static sealing of fittings and flange joints.
The standard design consists of an outer metal ring with a vulcanized rubber seal
cutting edge. When tightening the fitting (joint), the sealing cutting edge rests on the opposing surfaces and by deforming it, the sealing. The outer metal ring then ensures perfect force contact between the parts to be joined.

MATERIALS

As standard, these seals are supplied in combination with a galvanised steel ring (or yellow chromate) and an NBR sealing lip. Other materials, such as FPM or stainless steel versions - on request. In these cases, please contact us.

MEDIA

Usit rings are suitable for use in water, air, mineral oils as well as HFA fluids, HFB and VDMA 24320.

CONSTRUCTION

Usit rings have a smooth inner diameter as standard.
In case of special requirements for ring centering, some dimensions can be supplied on request
in the version with internal centering cutting edge (USS).
